Keeper Warren Slaney has been one of the pioneers of wild trout fishing, so the Duke’s beat on the Wye and the Hall beat on the Lathkill can truly be said to be all wild fisheries, including one of the very few populations of self-sustaining rainbow trout in the British Isles. These fast flowing limestone rivers (the Lathkill flows into the Wye) are a joy to fish in truly stunning surroundings all contained within one estate where the farming and landscape has been dedicated to creating the most wonderful dry fly fishing since 1865. |

The day rod rate includes the services of a fishing guide for the day. I recommend staying at The Peacock Hotel at Rowsley which is just 4 miles down the road and taking back-to-back days on the Lathkill and Wye. NB These are not the same day ticket beats sold through the hotel.
